Calvary Christian Fellowship welcomes you especially if this is your first visit to our website. We have put together this page to give you the important information on the services, activities and events which take place in and around the Church. All services take place at Calvary, 344 Muir Street, Motherwell ML1 1BN unless otherwise stated. Calvary Christian Fellowship, Motherwell
Sunday Services: We have two services on Sunday, one at 11am which runs until around 12:15pm, and our evening service which begins at 6.30pm until around 7.45pm. The format of these services is usually worship first, then a message lasting between 30 and 45 mins. Sunday School and Creche is offered during these services.
Thursday Bible Study: Every Thursday we meet to study the Bible on a more in depth basis than on a Sunday. These meetings begin at 7.30pm and end around 8.45pm. Some Thursday evenings will be changed from Bible Study to Worship Evenings, Concerts or Film Evenings. The right hand side bar of this page will let you know what is on this Thursday.
Children’s Ministry: We run Station 22:6 on Sunday mornings for children and a creche for those too young for it. Also on Sunday nights we run a Sunday School and creche. We do not currently run any children’s ministry or creche on a Thursday night.
Who We Are: We are affiliated to Calvary Chapel and committed to teaching through the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. For more information check out our About Us section here.
Through The Week: Throughout the week the church has various activities which cater for everyone from young to old alike. Beginning with Monday’s which are given over to Women’s Bible Studies and Men’s Meetings which all meet on a monthly basis. Tuesdays start out with Little Miracles Parent & Toddler Group, and go on to Salt & Light Ladies Home Fellowship later. Wednesdays begin with the Prayer Meeting every week except the first week of the month which is the Ladies Coffee Morning, with Fusion Home Fellowship for the youth, and the Home Fellowship meeting in the evening. Thursdays we have the Bible Study in the church most weeks. Fridays, we have our Weekly Coffee Morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm with free tea, coffee and home baking. Saturdays we occasionally we will have a Coffee Morning or Fund raising event which will be well publicised beforehand.
Teaching For Today
Online we offer all of David’s current studies usually available within a couple of days of the service. We also have an extensive CD and DVD library and a bookstore where you can order books and resources to assist you in your Bible Study and Christian Life. We also broadcast our services live – still in it’s infancy this resource is continually being improved to provide an opportunity for viewers to join us as David teaches live during the services. This section of the church comes under our Teaching For Today ministry, which also has it’s own website. The Teaching For Today website provides free online teaching from a variety of Pastors and the studies change every two months. We also broadcast all our services live online and the link to these is available on our live-services page.
