This ministry provides Bible studies and fellowship opportunities for the women of the church. They meet twice monthly to meet the various needs of working mothers and women. The Pastor’s wife (Cathie Simpson) is responsible for the general oversight and leadership of the women’s ministry. Meetings usually take place from September to June, however, check with the office for any meetings being held over the summer months.
Women’s Retreat: Details of the 2019 Women’s Retreat are still being finalized but to book or find out more details contact Liz Phillips on 01698 733073, or email office@calvarymotherwell.org stating Womens Retreat in the subject line.
We hold regular meetings here at Calvary which you are welcome to attend, including:
Women’s Bible Study – 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come and enjoy fellowship with us as we study God’s Word together. Tea and coffee are provided. Currently studying the book of Ephesians “Wholeness in a Broken World”
Women’s Coffee Morning – 1st Wednesday of each month at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Women share and testify to God’s goodness together during this time which last approximately an hour. Come and be encouraged, enjoy worship and fellowship over coffee or tea and cakes.
