Back to the Basics… for 2026
Over time, the Church can unintentionally make following Jesus feel more complicated than it was ever meant to be. Rules multiply. Expectations grow. Programs expand. Yet, all too often, these additions do not deepen our faith or make it more vibrant—they simply make it heavier.
Sometimes, the most faithful step forward is actually a step back.
A return to the basics reminds us of what truly shapes a life rooted in Christ. Time spent in prayer. Time spent in Scripture. Honest confession. Faith expressed through serving others. These simple practices are not shallow or outdated—they are the solid foundations on which a living, growing faith is built.
As we move into 2026, we invite you to come back to the things that matter most. Not more noise. Not more pressure. Just a renewed focus on walking closely with God, day by day.
